Why Choose Suncoast Vein & Vascular Clinic over other clinics?

At Suncoast Vein Clinic all treatments are performed by Dr. Singireddy, Board Certified in  Phlebology (study and treatment of vein diseases)and Interventional Radiology, trained in the latest techniques.

Since Varicose Vein treatments combine the use of ultrasound imaging, catheterization, and the precision use of medical lasers, you should depend on nothing less than an experienced Interventional Radiologist for your Varicose Vein treatment.

Utilization of these techniques and procedures comprise the major components of an Interventional Radiologists skill set.  Replacing open surgical techniques with minimally invasive treatment options in fact defines Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Singireddy was the first physician to provide
Endo Venous Laser Treatment (EVLT) in Volusia & Flagler Counties.

Having done thousands of EVLT procedures with excellent outcome and high patient satisfaction, Dr. Singireddy is the most experienced Vein Specialist
in the area.

How does EVLT work?

The laser energy damages the vein walls, shrinking them and closing the faulty vein so
that the blood cannot flow through it.  This eliminates vein bulging at its source.

Is loss of this vein a problem?

No.  After treatment, the blood in the faulty veins will be diverted to the many normal veins in the leg.

What are the complications
of this procedure?

The only minimal complications experienced with EVLT have been a small number of cases of numbness that passes quickly.

Am I at risk from the laser?

No.  Just as a precaution against accidental firing of laser energy outside the body, you will be given a pair of special glasses to protect your eyes.

Will insurance cover the treatment?

Many insurance companies cover the treatment of vein disease that is associated with substantial pain and other complications, but individual insurance companies may limit the types of therapy that are covered.
